Dec 18 2017, 9:32 pm

Due to snow possibly mixing with some freezing drizzle in Toronto, Environment Canada has issued a winter weather travel advisory this morning.

Couple the current precipitation with fog patches around the city and this morning’s commute should be approached with even more caution than usual.

It is currently -4.3°C in Toronto with a high of 3°C expected later this afternoon.

Stay safe out there, Toronto. And drive even safer.

Winter weather travel advisory

Snow possibly mixed with some freezing drizzle is expected to develop this morning. Snowfall amounts will be limited to a few centimetres at most, and any freezing drizzle is expected to be light. Dense fog patches reducing visibility are likely in some areas as well.

Although precipitation amounts will not be overly significant, locally slippery road conditions are anticipated this morning. Motorists are advised to exercise caution.

Temperatures are expected to rise above the freezing mark later this morning or early afternoon.
