Canada’s first urban ciderhouse is about to open in Toronto.

The country’s top-selling craft cider, Brickworks Ciderhouse, will be opening its location at 709 Queen Street East this February.

Brickworks Ciderhouse will be a new destination for craft cider enthusiasts and the home for Brickworks cider favourites, locally crafted micro-batches and a locally sourced seasonal menu.

Since its launch in 2013, Brickworks Ciderhouse has become one of Canadaā€™s most popular cider producers, and it only uses apples found within a 300 km radius of Toronto.

ā€œAs the cider market continues to evolve so do Canadians palates for more diverse ciders which is why the opening of the Ciderhouse will enable us to offer a best in class cider experience right here in Toronto,ā€ said Adam Gerrits, Co-Founder, Brickworks Cider. ā€œWeā€™re excited to be part of the thriving Riverdale neighbourhood and take part in local initiatives.ā€

The Ciderhouse seasonal menu will be paired with different chefs, and the company will work closely with culinary talent to develop locally inspired dishes.

The collaboration will give cider lovers the chance to enjoy delicious seasonal foods, a cider selection that also includes seasonals, along with the space’s innovative facilities with barrel and bottle aging features.

As part of its community commitment, the local Ciderhouse will also be partnering with Not Far From The Tree, a local initiative that helps Torontonians with fruit trees to harvest, share, and enjoy what they produce by providing volunteers to pick the bounty.

Once open, the Brickworks Ciderhouse‘s regular operating hours will be:Ā Monday to Wednesday, from 11:00 am to 12:00 am,Ā Thursday 11:00 am to 1 am, thenĀ Friday to Saturday, from 11:00 am to 2 amĀ and Sunday 10:30 am to 12:00 am.
