Toronto could soon have its own TTC Transit Museum

The TTC already has an online store. Now the Toronto Transit Commission is eyeing the possibility of a Transit Museum too.

Ward 21 Councillor Joe Mihevc has proposed the idea on the agenda for the upcoming board meeting happening on February 21.

Put forth as an enterprise to mark the TTC’s 100th anniversary in 2021, the proposal seeks to develop committee comprising TTC staff, commission, and key stakeholders to explore the feasibility of a museum and potential collaborations with organizations like the Canadian Transit Heritage Foundation.
