Woman attacked with hammer in downtown Toronto road rage incident

Toronto police are looking for witnesses after a woman was allegedly attacked by a man with a hammer at a busy intersection near the Rogers Centre Thursday evening.

The incident took place on Thursday, September 13 at approximately 6:39 pm near Lake Shore Boulevard West and Rees Street.

According to police, a man driving a motorcycle and a woman driving a motor vehicle got into an altercation while heading eastbound on Lake Shore Boulevard West.

Police say the motorcyclist stopped and attacked the driver with a hammer and damaged her vehicle before fleeing westbound on Lake Shore Boulevard West.
