What: Canadian fave Mac DeMarco is back with a fourth album, set to be released on May 5. The indie rocker is touring This Old Dog, along with his other releases this month. What: Calling all “This American Life” fans: Ira Glass, the creator, producer & host of the award-winning, iconic weekly public radio program will be in Toronto this weekend. Also known for his work on the ground-breaking podcast “Serial,” and it’s successor “S-Town,” Ira will be in town for a special evening of storytelling. Glass will mix stories live on stage using audio clips, music, and video, sharing lessons from his life and career. Plus, he’ll answer audience questions with a brief Q&A to close the evening.
