If you grew up in Toronto we’re willing to bet you’ve been to Wild Water Kingdom.
Well, come summer of 2017 you’re going to be making that same trip out toward Brampton, but for a whole new water park.
Premier Parks, an American brand with more than a dozen amusement and waterparks in the US, has reportedly purchased Wild Water Kingdom and plans on giving it a $25 million renovation and renaming it Wet’n’Wild Toronto.
Not much else is out there but the following statement from Wet’n’Wild Toronto should get you very excited for winter to be over:
For over 30 years, Wet’n’Wild has been the worldwide iconic waterpark brand. Wet’n’Wild is known for huge, exciting slides and water attractions for the whole family. All that fun will have a special Canadian flavour from the food and entertainment to the family thrills of new attractions like The Krazy Kanuck, Kaos and The Klondike Express.
It’s worth noting they also plan on having private cabana service.
Is winter over yet?
