If you’re up for a bit of a road trip this winter, you may want to head to Simcoe for its annual holiday light festival.

Simcoe Christmas Panorama has been running since 1958 and features over 60 dazzling light displays that are set up throughout the city’s downtown core.

Located just under two hours from Toronto, this festive display is the perfect winter activity for those who feel like they’ve already seen all the light displays that the city has to offer.

The magical spectacle shimmers with thousands of lights transforming the downtown parks into a winter wonderland, attracting visitors from across the province and the US.

Visitors are welcome to stroll the parkland at their leisure or take a ride on the horse-drawn trolley, which is available most weekends in December.

The best part? The festival is completely free to attend and will run until December 31.

So get cozy and get ready to see one of the most dazzling light displays in Ontario.
