In case you haven’t been outside or on social media in the past hour, Toronto was just hit with an intense rainstorm.
During the storm, heavy water came down in sheets, high gusts of wind caused power outages throughout the city, and trees were ripped out of the ground. Not to mention it was raining so hard it started pouring inside the Eaton Centre.
Today’s rainstorm comes after Environment Canada warned the city that a potential thunderstorm may cause strong gusts of wind of 90 to 100 km/h as a cold front moves through.
For those of us who didn’t happen to get caught up in the downpour, check out top photos and videos from Wednesday’s powerful rainstorm in Toronto.
