Toronto Police warn of high-risk sex offender being released from jail (PHOTO)

Toronto police are warning the public about a high-risk sex offender who is being released from jail on Wednesday, February 14.

Joseph Thayakaran Joseph, 45, has been serving an eight-year, 10-month sentence for:

1) two counts of Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Assault with a Weapon
3) three counts of Forcible Confinement
4) Assault

Police said Joseph, who will be living in Toronto upon his release, has high-risk potential to re-offend.

While living in Toronto, Joseph must comply with a number of conditions including reporting weekly to the Toronto Police Service, not to enter into any form of an intimate relationship without identifying the police and not to use any social media accounts without permission.

The Toronto police have released a photo of Joseph to help the public identify him.
