Toronto's largest literary festival returns next week

Dust those books off, the International Festival of Authors is back for another year at the Harbourfront Centre.

Running for 11 days, the prestigious literary festival will welcome the world’s best writers from across Canada and internationally.

The festival is packed with live readings, one-on-one author interviews, thought-provoking panel discussions, special events and free book signings for those who want to meet their favourite authors.

This year’s author lineup includes debut novelist Mary Walsh, award-winning author Colm Tóibín, Canadian author Barbara Gowdy and many more.

From poetry readings and crime and thriller writing discussions, to celebrations of authors’ literary achievements, the International Festival of Authors offers a curated selection of events for every literary taste.
