There’s something special about going for an evening walk and taking in the festive holiday light displays.

And every winter, The Beaches neighbourhood gets covered in over 80,000 twinkling Christmas light as part of the must-see Light Up the Beach event.

Hosted by Rick DeClute, owner of DeClute Real Estate, the magical display illuminates the boardwalk creating the most picturesque light display in support of The Michael Garron Hospital Foundation.

The light display is truly a sight to see and a holiday tradition that every Torontonian should enjoy. If you haven’t had a chance to check out the incredible lights display before, here are some incredible pictures from the opening weekend of Light Up the Beach.
