Gone are the days of simply trying to achieve a zit and shine-free graduation photo.

Teens today take their graduation photos seriously, arriving with full-blown red carpet-worthy makeup, putting previous generation’s photos to absolute shame.

This was exactly the case for Kevin Kodra, an 18-year-old high school student at Bishop Allen Academy, a Catholic school in Etobicoke.

Kodra, who is a self-taught makeup artist, revealed his grad photo on Instagram this past Monday to commemorate his 18th birthday. The photo has since gone viral, garnering over 20,000 likes and being reshared on major outlets like Teen Vogue, Business Insider, and more.

“I couldn’t even get my A’s straight,” reads the caption.

“In honour of my 18th birthday, here’s my senior photo. Really though, 17 was a wild year. I made memories that I’ll never forget. Thank you to everyone who was by my side every single day. From friends to family and even you guys, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.”

Kodra says that he spent hours completing the glowy look, which features highlighted cheekbones, full brows and lashes, a subtle ombre nude lip, and plenty of contour.

As the likes continue to pour in, so do the supportive comments, with countless followers praising Kodra for his skills.

“Definitely senior photo goals,” wrote one Instagrammer, “you’re gonna be the person stars go to. Great work keep it up,” wrote another.

But this look isn’t all that surprising for his 69,000 plus followers, as Kodra is known for sharing ultra-glam looks on his Instagram feed.

It’s safe to say, Kodra’s graduation photo is going to go down in history for all the right reasons.
