This week marks the 37th edition of Toronto’s International Festival of Authors (IFOA) which runs from October 20 to 30 at Harbourfront Centre.

The IFOA is a celebration of words and ideas, of writers and readers, and this year it is welcoming over 200 Canadian and international participants. Over 11 days, the festival will include readings, interviews, artist talks, round table discussions, public book signings and a number of special events.

Special events include the round table discussion with English-language Fiction Finalists of the Governor General’s Literary Award, the 2016 International Visitors Award, the PEN Canada Benefit and the Harbourfront Festival Prize that honours creativity and overall literary and publishing accomplishments.
