Now that it’s been confirmed that Toronto is going to be hit with some pretty nasty weather this winter, there’s no better time to book a trip and escape the city.

And it just so happens that WOW air is offering Torontonians a ‘Purple Friday’ deal by making visiting The Land of Fire and Ice more affordable than ever before.

Starting today, WOW air has a great Iceland travel deal, with flights starting at $330  – including all taxes, fees, and carrier charges.

This winter travel itinerary includes travel dates between December 1– 11, 2017 and January 10 – May 15, 2018.

So this Black Friday, why spend your money on a new TV or pair of shoes when you could swim in the Hot Springs of Iceland or check out the volcanos?

Travellers can take advantage of this hot travel deal by booking their ticket on WOW air’s website and by selecting travel their preferred travel dates. This deal ends this Friday.

WOW air

It is during peak cold season for Iceland, but you’d still get to enjoy this colourful city during low travel season and get a break from the city in the winter. You’ll just need to pack all those wool socks.

Another thing to keep in mind is that WOW Air, although budget friendly, does charge for any check-in luggage.

But hey, you’ll get to see Iceland for cheaper than a weekend spent in Toronto.
