We're getting serious about the Toronto food scene in the best way possible

Well, it’s been one hell of a first four months.

Since Daily Hive Toronto launched at the beginning of June we’ve been striving to bring you relevant and exciting local and nationwide content on the, well, daily.

You may be a regular reader or we may just pop up in your newsfeed from time to time, but if there’s one thing we want you to know it’s that we’re here to stay.

From the beginning, we set out to be different, focusing on what we know and what we know we’re good at. And one of the things we’re good at is food – not just eating it, but writing about it too.

But you’ve been wanting more – more of what’s opening, what’s hot, and what you need to be eating.

So today, we’re proud to announce we’ve taken one big step in ensuring food is a bigger part of Daily Hive Toronto – and a bigger part of your life – by bringing on Liora Ipsum as our new Toronto Food Editor.

Liora is to the Toronto food scene what overhead shots are to Instagram. Previously working at BlogTO as the food writer/editor, as well as at enRoute Magazine, and the Toronto Star, Liora is about to set your newsfeeds on fire with everything Toronto has on offer for foodies. Oh, and she’s the proud owner of an Instafamous dog, too.

If you can eat it or drink it and it’s happening in Toronto, you’re going to know about it. So follow along on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter as we eat our way through the 6ix.

And feel free to contact Liora with any food news or requests at [email protected]. You can follow her on Instagram and Twitter too.
