To celebrate operating in Toronto for a year, Lyft is launching the first annual Lyftie Awards in the city.

The Lyfties are a program that recognizes the most popular destinations in major cities across the US and now in Canada.

After launching in the US in 2014, Lyft has since expanded the awards to celebrate bars, concerts, gyms, neighbourhoods and more in 45 markets, including Toronto.

“Lyft helps Torontonians experience and connect with their city in new and interesting ways. We’re proud to support the local Toronto community through convenient, affordable rides and by providing a flexible earning opportunity,” said Aaron Zifkin, Managing Director for Canada, Lyft.

“The Lyfties are a way for us to recognize the places that truly make Toronto unique and to say thank you for sharing a ride with us to places like Mildred’s Temple Kitch and West Queen West.”

So without further adieu, here are the winners of the 2018 Toronto Lyftie Awards.
