Just because the snow has finally arrived in Toronto it doesn’t mean you should stay inside all day.
Instead, you need to get outside and check out all of the fun and festive events happening throughout the city.
From the Fair in the Square to heading to the ROM to take advantage of the free admission, here are your top events for Tuesday, December 12.
What: Jonathan and Drew Scott from HGTV’s Property Brothers help raise money for the Nzirambi Orphanage in Uganda at this evening of wine, bubbles, cake fun. The Property Bros. will assist with design tips, structural advice and eating as guests work on cake creations alongside raffles, food and drink.

What: This massive holiday market and winter carnival located outside Toronto City Hall kicked off on December 1 and runs until the day before Christmas Eve. Look forward to holiday shopping, an ice bar, and plenty of festive foods including a two-handed festive feast dubbed Deep Fried Christmas, plus Beavertails, poutine, fudge, and more.

What: On December 12, the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) will be officially reopening its heritage Weston Entrance on Queen’s Park to the public. To mark this accomplishment, the ROM is offering FREE general admission to all visitors throughout the day.

What: Toronto singer-songwriter and three-time Juno Nominee Sarah Slean will be performing at the Harbourfront Centre Theatre this evening. This is Sarah’s first Toronto headlining show in five years and will feature songs from her critically acclaimed 2017 album, “Metaphysics”, along with her classics, and a few of her holiday favourites to celebrate the festive season.

What: Celebrity favourite Dean Davidson will be hosting his 10-year anniversary celebration today. The sale will take place within the same space as his Holiday Pop-Up shop, 38 Ossington Ave. An added bonus, shoppers will also get the exclusive chance to shop the custom Castle Ring bar, choosing a gemstone of their choice for the brand’s most popular ring design. Davidson has become an internationally celebrated designer, worn by the likes of Sophie Trudeau, Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba and more.
