Canadian International Auto Show

What: Experience the total automotive experience with over 600,000 square feet of dazzling displays, big prize giveaways and engaging exhibits.

Ice Breakers

What: Now in its second year, Ice Breakers provides the city with five temporary wintertime art installations that are 100% free to the public. This is the final weekend to check it out, so head on down to the waterfront ASAP!

The Artist Project Contemporary Art Fair

What: Whether you’re in the market for an acrylic painting, a professional print or a one-of-a-kind sculpture, you’re going to find the perfect piece at The Artist Project, a contemporary art fair happening in Toronto this weekend.

Toronto Light Fest

What: For the second year in a row, the historic Distillery District will be home to the Toronto Light Fest this winter. Designed to entertain and inspire, the free to attend light festival will feature curated light installations and illuminated sculptures created by a number of local and international artists.

Winter at Ontario Place

What: Ontario Place has welcomed a new free event: Winter at Ontario Place. The new festival features various winter-themed activities including the Winter Light Exhibition, skating on the new synthetic skating rink and film screenings at the newly re-opened Cinesphere.

Eats on King

What: The City of Toronto is launching “Eats on King,” a new program, described as similar to Winterlicious and promoting restaurants in the area of the King Street Pilot project.

Skating at Harbourfront Centre

What: When the weather starts to drop, it means it’s officially time to go skating. And it just so happens that the city’s most scenic rink has its doors open for the winter season. The Natrel Rink is complete with heated indoor change rooms and its own rink-side bar and grill for those interested in getting a snack post-skate.

Yoko Ono: The Riverbed

What: This weekend, you can experience Yoko Ono’s latest art installation The Riverbed at the Gardiner Museum. The Riverbed invites visitors to collaborate with the artist, the museum, and each other through everyday action and contemplation.

Giro d’Italia

What: Today is the final day to enjoy Italian Restaurant Week in Toronto, giving foodies the chance to fulfill all their carb-laden, wintertime cravings. Toronto’s top Italian restaurants participate by showcasing the cuisine from different regions in Italy via multi-course prezzo fisso (prix fixe) menu priced at $49.

Icefest 2018

What: Toronto’s historic Yorkville neighbourhood will be transformed into a showcase of delicate, stunning ice sculptures using over 20,000 lbs of crystal clear ice this February. The main event is, of course, the  Sassafraz Ice Carving Competition, which will be taking over the east side of the Village of Yorkville Park.

What: This annual trade show for industry folks will sample and demo innovative new products, dishes, and gadgets.

Speed Rack

What: Now in its third year, cocktail competition Speed Rack – created for and by female bartenders to promote female bartenders – will see competitors go head to head in round-robin, timed, and judged challenges in the Toronto edition of the national qualifiers.

Spring Flower Show

What: Spring will be arriving early this Sunday at Allans Gardens Park. The gardens’ Cool House will be bursting with colour and will have tulips, fragrant hyacinths, primula and schizanthus on display.
