In Conversation: Bill Nye

What: Come and unleash your inner nerd with everyone’s favourite science guy, Bill Nye. Hosted by Indigo, Nye will be in the city to discuss how thinking like a nerd is the key to changing yourself and the world around you. Nye will also be signing copies of his new book, Everything All At Once: How to Unleash Your Inner Nerd, Tap into Radical Curiosity and Solve Any Problem.

Dinner Under the Stars

What: Toronto’s St. Lawrence Market will be hosting a Dinner Under the Stars this week that will feature two continuous tables running the length of Front Street between Scott and Church) where 250 guests will dine on oysters and whisky, passed canapes and courses of beef tartare, salad, and cured salmon, prime rib, and mini desserts, complete with wine pairings. Tickets are $200, funds raised will be directed to FOODSHARE Toronto.

Waterfront Night Market

What: The annual T&T Waterfront Night Market is back for another exciting run and attendees can expect the awesome outdoor culinary experience along with all the night market awesomeness at a brand new venue.

Taste of the Danforth

What: One of Toronto’s most famous summer events, Taste of the Danforth is Canada’s largest street festival and it’s back for its 24th year with plenty of Greek-style eats at this massive street festival.

What: If you haven’t had your fill of BBQ yet this summer, then head to Toronto’s JerkFest to get your fix. Come and experience a weekend filled with arts, crafts, cultural entertainment, and plenty of jerk-style food.
