It’s a brand new week in Toronto, which means it’s time to make room in your calendars for some of the biggest events happening in the city.

Twilight Tuesdays Night Market

What: Twilight Tuesdays Night Market returns to Toronto’s Financial District this August offering another outdoor option to imbibe after a long day stuck inside an office. Look forward to a rotating cast of Toronto restaurants hawking street foods alongside ice-cold Ungava Gin drinks.

When: Every Tuesday from August 7 to 28

JerkFest

What: The summer food fest is a favourite for its multi-day festivities devoted all things Jerk and in addition to devouring the Caribbean classic all day, festival-goers can partake in a Hot & Spicy Jerk Chicken-eating competition, So You Think You Can Jerk competition and Jerk Chicken seasoning workshops.

When: August 9 to 12

Sail-In Cinema

What: For the first time, the free movie event will be condensed into two action-packed nights that feature all of the same exciting activities, free treats and family fun enjoyed by movie-goers over the past seven years. This year’s theme looks at life outside the ordinary with movies based on the idea of adventure “In Other Worlds.”

Waterfront Night Market

What: Now in its ninth year, the Pan Asian food fest and lifestyle expo is popping-up in an all-new location this year. For the first time ever the night market will take over the West Island at Ontario Place.

Taste of the Danforth

What: Among the largest street festivals in Canada, this weekend event attracts more than 1.5 million attendees each year to celebrate the Danforth’s Greek heritage along with Canada’s multiculturalism.

Rosé Picnic

What: If rosé all-day is all you want to do this summer then this event is for you. Billed as “Canada’s largest premium picnic,” Toronto’s Rosé Picnic returns for 2018 and will turn the Stanley Barracks at Hotel X into a sea of pink for a single day.
