Jun 13 2018, 2:33 am

Come and celebrate our home and native land at Downsview Park this Canada’s Day.

On July 1, Downsview Park will be hosting an evening of free family-friendly activities including an epic display of fireworks to conclude the festivities.

Kicking off at 6 pm, there will be inflatables and games for children in addition to face painters, and live entertainment.

Parking is free, however, organizers warn that it is limited, so make sure to arrive early if you’re planning on driving.

The park is also easily accessible by public transit, all you have to do is take the 101 Parc Downsview Park bus directly from Sheppard West Station, or take a short walk from Downsview Park Station.

So rally up your friends and family, pack a picnic, and grab a blanket and get ready for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
