A TTC Lego exhibit will be on display in abandoned Bay Lower Station

Each year, Doors Open Toronto gives residents a unique opportunity to inside more than 130 of the most architecturally, historically, culturally, and socially significant buildings across the city.

On May 26 and 27, the 19th annual Doors Open will take over the city, and the public can enjoy an impressive lineup of buildings and walking tours, a speaker series, music program, and more.

This year, the hidden Lower Bay subway platform will be open for free, giving the public the chance to explore the abandoned station, which hasn’t been in use since 1966.

Transit Bricks, founded by transit historian Trevor Parkins-Sciberras, will have a TTC Lego exhibit set up in the abandoned station featuring various buses and streetcars made out of Lego during Doors Open on Saturday, May 26.

This event is free to attend and all ages are welcome.
