Fall-like weather returns to Toronto ahead of weekend

It’s official.

The first flakes of the season arrived in Toronto last night, giving Torontonians a taste of the bone-chilling temperatures to come this winter.

On Thursday, October 18, we’re going to see the temperature hover just above 0°C, which will feel more like -1°C with the windchill.

Environment Canada says there’s a 40% chance of flurries in the morning, with southwest winds at gusts of up to 40 km/h expected for this afternoon.

But thankfully, fall-like weather will replace the sudden touch of cold, with seasonally warm temperatures expected for Friday.

Environment Canada is showing that we’re going to see a high of 14°C and sunny skies on Friday, which will taper off into light showers by the evening.

But beware, this warm-up will be super brief as we’re set to see some of the coldest air of the season so far this weekend, with temperatures forecasted to dip down to 0°C by Saturday evening.
