In celebration of their second birthday, popular dessert cafe, Cheese Garden has announced it will be serving up a very special dessert for hungry patrons this fall.

Starting on October 13, fans of the local source for Japanese desserts will be able to enjoy the Yuzu Pistachio Double Fromage Cheesecake, which is guaranteed to “shake Toronto’s foodie world,” according to a press release.

The special edition dessert is a creative twist on Cheese Garden’s popular Double Fromage Cheesecake and is composed of diverse layers.

The base of the Yuzu Pistachio Double Fromage Cheesecake is made of fluffy pistachio sponge cake, which is then topped with a rich, smooth, baked pistachio cheesecake.

This dessert is not just super Instagram-worthy, bursting with vibrant tangy notes and fresh aromas of citrus, it is also a delight both in flavours and textures.

The special edition dessert will be released in limited quantities — only 50 cakes will be available at each location each day – and will be sold until November 4 in all Cheese Garden shops.

So, if you love to try new, authentic, culturally-diverse dishes, or you simply love yuzu or pistachio, this dessert is a must.
