15 amazing photos from the Toronto Maple Leafs' Centennial Classic

It was a beautiful day on January 1 in Toronto.

And thousands of fans greeted the sunshine and above 0°C temperatures by heading to BMO Field to check out the Centennial Classic.

The game, which many have been looking forward to for months, celebrated the Toronto Maple Leafs’ 100th year and featured Bryan Adams as one of the performers during intermission. The Leafs hosted the Detroit Red Wings for an exciting game, and Toronto ended up winning in OT.

In case you missed it, the sunset was incredible, and the spirit of Toronto kept everyone warm.
