History was made Sunday afternoon when France defeated Croatia 4-2 in the 2018 World Cup final.

All throughout the city, Toronto France fans could be seen wrapped in red, white and blue flags and singing the French national anthem.

As the final whistle blew, shouts rang out and large crowds gathered in city streets, celebrating France’s victory, which happened to be the highest-scoring final in 52 years.

From the streets to the bars and even at the Toronto Eaton Centre, here’s how Torontonians celebrated the big win.
