Toronto's cult favourite Bus Terminal Diner has re-opened

The old school diner on The Danforth has been a Toronto institution since 1948 but closed earlier this year without notice.

Now, Toronto’s Bus Terminal Diner is back in business newly opened with longtime, four-day a week patron, Tim Dutaud and partners Ryan Kowalyk and Kevin Wallace at the helm.

The trio previously worked together at Toronto’s now defunct Kultura restaurant.

Despite their fine dining pedigree, they’ve kept the ’50s decor and beloved menu standards like big all day breakfast plates, build-your-own omelettes and chocolate-chip pancakes on the menu.

The biggest change is that all the new food is scratch-made.
