This past weekend, the top foodie-reviewed restaurants and upcoming chefs in the GTA gathered for the fifth annual TO Food Fest.

Thousands of Toronto foodies and fanatics made their way to the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto to sip, sample, and savour from nearly 50 vendors.

The rain drop cakes stole the show. The shiny, jiggly, Instagram-friendly blobs of water are the latest dessert craze in Toronto, and they were everywhere during TO Food Fest 2016.

Second day of the TO food fest! Since it is so hot today we decided to get the pineapple juice that comes in the pineapple itself! It's purely 100% fruit juice so you know it will taste amazing! Handmade dumplings by @feastoronto. Can't stop thinking about their "Pho Beef" and "Crispy Shrimp" Dumplings! It really felt like I was having Pho in dumpling form and Crispy Shrimp was a mouthful of shrimp. Stop by @tofoodfest TODAY until 6pm for some scrumptious street food! Such an amazing job at this year's event, organized by one of my faves @phone.eats.first. By far, one of the best TO Food Fest I've been to, from the extensive list of food vendors down to the even the music/DJ.
