Artisans’ Holiday Market

Start your weekend off at the Artisans’ Holiday Market. The daytime event is in support of Sick Kids.

Where: 170 Elizabeth Street
When: December 9 at 10 am  to 5 pm

Holiday Market

This outdoor market will feature a collection of seasonal and artisan vendors, live music, food and drink, a warm-up lounge hosted by Jack Astor’s and a strolling Santa.

When: December 9 to 11, Friday from 3 to 9 pm, Saturday & Sunday from 12 to 6 pm

12 Beers of Christmas

The Gladstone Hotel is back at it, hosting its annual all-you-can-taste, beer-drinking extravaganza. After making a list, and checking it twice (of course), 12 local breweries will be at this holiday event tonight!

Joe Rogan

The Twelve Days of Christmas

A delightful concert for the whole family featuring beloved comedian Colin Mochrie. The TSO’s RBC Resident Conductor Earl Lee leads the TSO, the Highland Creek Pipe Band, the Resonance Youth Choir, and Tha Spot Holiday Dancers for a festive evening, complete with sing-along holiday classics, and a hilarious live-action pageant.

A Tribe Called Red

Ottawa’s A Tribe Called Red is on a North American this fall. The producer/DJ crew has been producing a truly eclectic sound that’s impacting the global electronic scene and urban club culture. Since 2010 the group – currently made up of DJ NDN, Bear Witness and 2oolman – has been mixing traditional pow wow vocals and drumming with cutting-edge electronic music. Their tour this winter follows the crew’s second full-length album Nation II Nation, which came out in May.

The Lost Sock and The Sweetest Thing Confection have teamed up to create the first annual “X-Mas in the Annex” taking place this weekend! The Lost Sock, a humble Annex Laundromat that is also a multi-use space for music events, pop-up shops, art showcases and more will play host to the festivities. Products from their online shop will be available for purchase, with products including Balloons, Coffee Mugs, Kate Spade, Bando & more. This event will also mark their first Pop-Up Shop!
