One of Toronto’s favourite Chinese food restaurants is gearing up to shut down.

Luckee, the deluxe dim sum spot situated inside the SoHo Metropolitan Hotel, has announced on Instagram that it will be closing at the end of December.

This is the second spot by Susur Lee to close this year, after Toronto said goodbye to Frings in the early summer.

The restaurant’s last day of service will be December 23, which is coming up fast. Luckily though, they’ve devised a plan to make the goodbye (slightly) less painful.

Starting December 4, the spot will be serving some of their most memorable and popular signature dishes to celebrate the success of their five years of operation.

Make sure you stop by to get your dim sum fill before the clock runs out on this spot. And cross your fingers that whatever replaces it will be equally satisfying.
