Evergreen Brick Works announces launch of new outdoor summer market

Believe it or not, summer is just around the corner. And this year, there’s a new weekend market awaiting you at Evergreen Brick Works.

Launching on May 6 and 7, the outdoor Sunday Market is Toronto’s newest destination to enjoy locally-made food, drink and artisanal crafts and explore nature in the city – all in one location.

Located in the heart of the Don Valley, every Sunday, Evergreen Brick Works’ outdoor pavilions will become a host to local chefs and food vendors who will be serving delicious flavours, including brunch.

There will be shops with over 15 craft and artisanal vendors offering products from jams, jellies and spreads to locally-made clothing and unique hand-made jewellery, wood and leather goods.

This summer, a new ‘lawn game’ area will host two bocce courts, shuffle board, beanbag toss and Molkky, a centuries-old Finnish throwing game where pins are knocked over for points.

This Sunday market will be an addition to the return of Evergreen’s popular outdoor Saturday Farmers Market, starting on May 6 from 8 am to 1 pm.
