Stranger Things fans, listen up!

It’s time to indulge into your own little strange world right here in Toronto when Nuit Blanche hosts a Stranger Things-inspired event.

This weekend, on Saturday, September 30, Netflix will participate in the annual Nuit Blanche festivities by inviting event goers to discover a world within a world inside The Red Forest. This interactive activation brings the discoverability of Netflix and fan favourite shows to life in a forest full of endless possibilities.

Wearing a provided hazmat suit, visitors enter The Red Forest to a gooey, creepy avant-garde reimagination of the Upside Down from Stranger Things. From there, guests move through portals in the forest where they’ll discover areas of mystical foliage reminiscent of the Blossom Maple Farm from Riverdale, trees with bikes growing out of them from Stranger Things and a reactive Orc tree based on the upcoming Netflix original film “Bright.”

Once the forest exploration is over, guests will end up in a version of the Twilight Drive-In from Riverdale, where they can sit in the cars, charge their devices or check out what’s playing on the screen.

Talk about a Netflix and chill night, but IRL.
