There’s a crawfish boil happening in a Toronto parking lot this weekend

Summer is in full swing in Toronto meaning it’s prime time for day-drinking, patio-sitting, and devouring piles of steamed seafood spilled out over picnic tables like they do in Louisiana.

Inspired by the classic Creole feast, Sean Gilliland and Nick Mora are hosting a crawfish boil  in the parking lot across fromDundas West restaurant, Smoke Signals Bar-B-Q.

The afternoon event is presented as part of Smoke Signals’ ongoing parking lot patio series which caps off every weekend this summer with special menus, cocktails, and beers from Ace Hill.

On the menu this week; a crawfish boil complete with clams, corn, and potatoes, grilled head-on prawns with garlic scapes, Nashville hot catfish sandwiches, and squid noodle salads.

Interested seafood eaters are asked to RSVP on Facebook to get on the guest list.
