Woman falls to her death on hiking trail an hour outside of Toronto

A young woman has died after falling at Halton Parks’ Rattlesnake Point.

Halton police say that around 9 pm on Sunday, May 28, a 23-year-old female was out with friends on the popular outdoor trail. The female fell around 70-feet from the trail, and died from her injuries.

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

Located about an hour from Toronto, Rattlesnake Point has several hiking trails, has designated sites for rock climbing, and is known for its views from the edges of cliffs.
