Penny Oleksiak might have won Canada’s first Olympic gold medal in Rio, but that’s not stopping the swimmer from being an average 16-year-old.

In an interview straight from Rio, the Toronto native told Kiss 92.5 morning show hosts Roz Weston and Mocha Frap that she can’t wait to get back to Canada to see her friends and family – and to play Pokémon GO.

“I just want to get home, see my friends, see my dog, catch some Pokémon,” says the teen, who won three more medals for Canada in addition to the gold.

“I want to catch ’em all.”

We guess Oleksiak isn’t letting her Olympic fame get to her head. When asked where she’s keeping her gold, silver, and two bronze medals, she said in her socks back in her hotel room.

She swam the 100-metre butterfly in an astounding 52.7 seconds, setting a new Olympic record last Thursday.

For the record, Oleksiak did try to catch some Pokémon in Rio, but she said the selection is sparse.
