The ultimate doggy day out is happening in Toronto (and it's FREE to attend)

On a scale of one to 10, how much do you love your dog?

(10. The answer is 10. We all know that.)

If you’re looking for a reason to give them a treat that doesn’t come from your cupboard, you can take them to Paws in the Park, the largest annual fundraiser and adoption event for the Toronto Humane Society.

Taking place at Woodbine Park on Saturday, August 11, it’s got everything your dog could dream of in a free day out.

For starters, they can make new four-legged friends while enjoying the obstacle courses, photo booths (adorable), free training sessions, and homemade dog treats.

If you haven’t got a dog yet but you have a place in your heart for one, you could even adopt an adorable canine pal at the event. Paws in the Park has been a staple in the community for years, and the upcoming event is the second year it has featured canine adoption.

You can enjoy a four-kilometre sponsored walk, free face painting, shopping in the Vendor Village, the chance to win fantastic prizes, and meet new dogs and their owners at the event, all while helping the Toronto Humane Society.

Fundraising from Paws in the Park provides a significant portion of the Humane Society’s annual operating costs and helps keep their doors open for animals in need of their assistance, so if you’d love to lend a helping hand (or paw), visit Paws in the Park for more info.

Paws in the Park will be happening rain or shine, and both you and your dog will probably have FOMO if you miss it.
