A massive outdoor art exhibition is coming to Nathan Phillips Square from July 14 to 16, and it’s open to the public for free.

The Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition returns for its 56th year and features the works of 340 artists– more than half who are first-time participants at the exhibition– and includes paintings, photography, mixed media, jewellery and ceramics.

“For more than five decades, Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition has built a reputation as a place of art discovery, where fresh ideas and next generation artists converge,” said Anahita Azrahimi, Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition’s executive director, in a release.

This year’s exhibition will take place at a newly designed ground and will feature performances by contemporary dance-theatre artist Meagan O’Shea, and new programming for families and fans of contemporary craft.
