Opening soon: The Green Wood, a new locavore brunch spot in Leslieville

Leslieville is about to get a new destination for brunching!

The Green Wood is slated to replace Crate in the same building as Queen Margherita Pizza‘s OG outpost.

The casual dining concept from Elisa Corrigan (SPiN Toronto) and Ryan Fisher (SPiN Toronto, District 461) will serve a scratch-made Canadian menu that prominently features local Ontario ingredients.

Once open, expect a solid brunch business featuring messy sandwiches, eggy classics and seasonal specials.
