Newborn baby found abandoned outside in the city's west end

Toronto police say that a newborn baby was found abandoned outside near Keele Street and Lawrence Avenue on Tuesday.

Initially, police reported that the baby’s condition was “in jeopardy” but have since downgraded the baby’s condition to ‘critical.’

According to Environment Canada, it’s -4°C in Toronto right now. At this time, it’s unclear how long the baby was outside for.
