You can get a sneak peek of the newest TTC subway stations next month

Sep 16 2017, 1:21 am

While the TTC’s opening date for the latest Line 1 extension isn’t until December 17, the transit agency is invited the public to a preview of the stations next month.

On October 28, from 1 to 5 pm, you’ll be invited to take a peek inside Pioneer Village, Highway 407, and Vaughan Metropolitan Centre Stations before they are fully operational this winter.

According to the TTC, visitors will have access to the station, may take a self-guided tour, discover unique facts about the new stations, how they were built and how they will operate. They can also talk to project staff and artists, architects, designers, construction and subway systems staff and some of our neighbours.

Shuttle bus service will be offered by TTC from Sheppard West Station’s bus terminal (formerly Downsview Station) to Pioneer Village Station and regular fare rates will apply.
