Here's a peek inside downtown Toronto's hottest nerd bar (PHOTOS)

Nerds, geeks, witches and weirdos have a new hideaway in the heart of Church Street. Storm Crow Manor, which recently opened in Toronto, is the place where sci-fi, fantasy and fandom dreams come to life.

Guests travel through cavernous hallways and creaky stairwells as they move through the many magical rooms in the Manor, navigating dragons and demons along the way.

Whether you’re sipping cocktails in the Apothecary or stalking dragons in the Victorian Hunting Lounge, you’re likely to forget you’re in the middle of a modern city.

The multi-level bar restaurant is fully equipped with board games and out-of-this-world decor that transports you to different times and dimensions.

While the environment is something out of a fantasy novel, the menu is worth geeking out over, too.

The Legendary Chickpea Fries are a menu must-try. Served stacked and warm, these thick fries are crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and are perfectly complemented by a spicy sriracha aioli.

If you’re feeling lighter fare, the Farro-Scape Salad hits the spot. A fresh mix of farro, lentils and pickled beets are mixed with micro-greens and creamy goat cheese to offer a dish that will satisfy you without weighing you down.

Or maybe try your luck on the Dungeon Burger. Toss the dice and eat whatever combo you roll.

Leave room for a drink (or two), because the cocktails are just as magical as everything else. The Romulan Ale, a sweet-but-not-too-sweet mixture of Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Blue Caracao and lemon boils and bubbles while you sip it thanks to dilithium crystals.

Little adventurers have something to look forward to on the beverage menu.

Soon enough, Storm Crow will be offering kid-friendly drinks made with dry-ice that are sure to dazzle.

This spot’s first two locations opened in Vancouver with great success. Bringing a location to Toronto has proven to be a hit so far. So much so, that there are already feelers out for a second location in the city. Watch this space.

Whether you prefer Star Wars or Scott Pilgrim, there’s space for you to comfortably congregate at Storm Crow Manor. This spot offers an elevated pub experience with the intention of guests leaving happier than they were when they walked in. So grab your geekiest pals and go get your nerd on.
