Holiday Street Market might have moved to Milton for the 2017 season, but that doesn’t mean the city isn’t also decking the halls at Mississauga Celebration Square.

The official kick-off and tree lighting will take place on Saturday, November 25 and promises an evening of live music, a holiday market featuring 50+ artisans and food vendors, the season opener for the outdoor ice rink, photos with Santa, family-friendly activities, and more.

“On behalf of the City of Mississauga and Members of Council, we invite everyone to join us for the much-anticipated Light Up The Square event taking place at Celebration Square to kick off the Holiday and Christmas season here in Mississauga,” said Mayor Bonnie Crombie in a press release. “From the bustling Holiday Street Market to outdoor skating and the lighting of Mississauga’s tallest natural Christmas tree – there are so many things for families to see, do and enjoy. Celebration Square is in the heart of our City for a reason. It’s where Mississauga comes together and comes alive – especially during the Holiday and Christmas season.”

Presenting sponsor Rabba Fine Foods will be there serving up FREE hot chocolate and raising funds for The Mississauga Food Bank.
