Madame Boeuf reopening for summer with Shake Shack-style burgers and bocce
Madame Boeuf hosts its season opener on May 19 and the backyard venue behind Bar Begonia is introducing some new attractions for its sophomore season.
The flea market will return as a semi-permanent installation this summer, and chef and owner Anthony Rose is also building a small shack to house his own personal collection of tchotchkes.
New and improved bocce ball courts along with new games are coming too, and there will be table service this year so there will be no need to line-up for food and drink.
Perhaps most importantly is the lineup of summery new menu items including ice cream sandwiches with iced cake buns, hot dogs, crinkle cut fries, and burgers built on soft pillowy buns – the same as Shake Shack.
