Leslieville dog owners are being threatened to pick up after their pups.

On Wednesday evening, residents in Leslieville noticed bright posters with a note targeting dog owners.

“To the person that lets their large dog use this area for a bathroom and will not pick up after the dog. Please be warned we have dropped small treats in the grass that will make your dog real sick,” read the poster, with the words “real sick” capitalized.

The note continued saying that the treats will not kill a dog, but will make it “real sick.”

“If your dog starts to vomit, the dog should go to the vet,” it said.

The posters were spotted near Mosley and Leslie Street, in the east end.

While the signs are being investigated, some have searched the area for treats and have found nothing.

For the time being, if you’re in the area with your pup, just be cautious.
