LCBO stores across Ontario will be open on Canada Day
Happy Canada Day fellow Ontarionians! For once, you’ll be to purchase wine, beer, and spirits on route to the festivities because the LCBO will be open on Canada Day.
While the provincial liquor stores are normally shuttered on statutory holidays, 2018 is an exception because Canada’s 151st birthday falls on a Sunday. It means that LCBO stores will be open regular hours on July 1.
Of course, if you don’t plan on spending the holiday Monday recovering from a hangover –likely made worse still by heat stroke – you’ll still need to stock up. “In observance of Canada Day, all LCBO stores will be closed on Monday, July 2, 2018,” according to an LCBO spokesperson.
Just don’t forget to stay hydrated and enjoy responsibly.
