What to expect from the new Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon in Toronto
We still don’t have an opening date to announce but the Canadian licensee has given Daily Hive the lowdown on what to expect when Toronto’s first Ladurée Boutique and Tea Salon opens later this year at Yorkdale Mall.
Like all other Ladurée locations around the world, Toronto’s edition will be designed by Ladurée designers to represent the brand’s iconic style, but “unique to the specific location, city and country.” Toronto’s 1,185 square foot boutique will offer a variety of macarons, chocolates, teas, jams, honeys, and various accessories.
And, with seating for 26, the tea salon will serve macarons along with sweet and savoury items, and drinks.
Look forward to a menu similar to the location in Vancouver featuring French toast, Croque Monsieur, ice cream desserts and ice creams prepared by Ladurée pastry Chef, and L’Afternoon Tea.
Ladurée Vancouver has also just recently launched a menu of cocktails, champagnes, and wines, and the hope is to be able to do that in Toronto too.
