Famous South Korean fried chicken joint opening in Toronto next week

Nov 13 2018, 3:24 am

One of South Korea’s most popular fried chicken spots is about to land in Toronto, and it’s coming in hot.

Chicken in the Kitchen, famous for it’s fresh poultry selection, no-nonsense ingredients list and over-the-top dishes will be opening at Yonge and Finch on November 22.

This will be the Korean cult-classic’s first location in North America.

While the whole menu seems mouth-watering, the Cheese Volcano Chicken platter looks mind-blowing. Juicy fried chicken, Korean rice cakes and potato wedges are served on a bed of rosé sauce, surrounding a bread bowl filled with hot, melted gouda and parmesan cheese.

To celebrate its grand opening, the new spot will offer 50% off the Cheese Volcano Chicken platters to the first 75 customers on November 22 and 23, starting at 5:00 pm each day.

It’ll be first come, first served, so arrive early with an empty tummy and your Instagram at the ready.
