A convention for Cat People is coming to Toronto this spring

Jan 10 2017, 3:35 am

Cat people in Toronto can stop being jealous of all the events geared towards dogs.

Coming this spring, Toronto’s first ever convention aimed at bringing together cat lovers for two “fur-filled” days of apparel, food, treats, and toys for cats along with apparel, food, treats, and toys for humans that love cats.

The event organizers are the same folks behind the Toronto Bakers Market. Co-creators Kathleen Gook, Gillian Gook, Keiko Flower and Jayne Ambler “wanted to find a fun and creative way to connect with the cat-loving community…” and to “celebrate the ever-growing cat culture here in the GTA.”

Details are still being finalized but cat enthusiasts should expect 50+ vendors, celebrity cats on hand for special photo ops, and more
