Kenneth Cole opens first Canadian stand-alone store in Toronto

Kenneth Cole has just opened a new flagship store in Toronto.

The brand’s first Canadian free-standing store opened today, Monday, July 23 at 315 Queen Street West.

It’s a 1,800-sq-ft space stocked with will sell Kenneth Cole New York label clothing, accessories, and men’s and women’s footwear.

“For 35 years, Kenneth Cole has defined the standard for New York style and social consciousness,” stated Marc Schneider, Kenneth Cole Productions Inc.’s Chief Executive Officer in a press release. “As we continue to focus strategically on our retail business, we are excited to bring this modern lifestyle brand to the Canadian consumer through our own flagship location in the heart of Toronto.”

The brand is famous for its line of modern classics and has been a household name since the company began selling women’s shoes in the back of a production trailer in 1982. The company draws on its heritage to create its in-store experience that features “clean lines, strong artistic works and purposeful messaging” throughout the store interior.
