The votes are in.
John Tory has been re-elected as Mayor of Toronto.
Following Tory’s unsurprising landslide win, social media is abuzz with reactions. And while much of the city seems hopeful and optimistic, the tweets have two decidedly different tones.
John Tory won! Hooray for Toronto as we build for tomorrow! #torontoelection2018

But not everyone is as excited about Tory’s win.
If Keesmaat joined the race a little earlier and got a little more involved with media appearances she could’ve done a lot better. She is a very well spoken woman. Prefer John Tory this time around, but I hope she runs again.

Bad enough that John Tory is our mayor again, but who the fuck are all these people that voted for Faith Goldy? Over 20,000 votes? REALLY? JFC. #ToPoli #TOelxn #TOvotes18
